Bermuda topdressing and surface correction
Smooth a bumpy Bermuda lawn with a clearly defined leveling package.
Published starting packages from $699, with material, correction level, access, and lawn size confirmed in the property quote.

Current Bermuda leveling prices
Choose the correction level—not just a load of sand.
Each package has a different purpose. The proposal confirms the measured area, material volume, application plan, and practical finish target.
Service package
Smooth & Breathe
An entry leveling and aeration package for generally healthy Bermuda with modest surface irregularities.
- Property-specific core aeration
- Controlled topdressing application
- Material worked into the canopy
- Cleanup and aftercare guidance
Starting price. Designed for light correction, not deep fills or major grade repair.

Level & Correct
A stronger correction package for visible mower bounce, shallow low areas, or a lawn needing more material and detail work.
- Core aeration where included in quote
- Higher correction allowance than entry package
- Focused work on practical surface consistency
- Defined material and treated area
Starting price. Final material volume and labor are based on the measured lawn and existing grade.

Reel-Ready Reset
A higher-intensity package for Bermuda owners pursuing a smoother surface and a lower, more consistent cut.
- Detailed property and surface assessment
- Higher material and labor allowance
- Finish work aimed at reduced mower bounce
- Staged-expectation and aftercare plan
“Reel-ready” describes the goal, not a promise of a perfectly flat surface in one application.

What leveling can improve
A smoother surface supports a cleaner, more consistent cut.
Bermuda exposes small dips and ridges because it is often maintained shorter than Fescue. Tire ruts, settling, construction disturbance, erosion, and repeated traffic can create mower bounce and uneven scalping.
Leveling applies a measured topdressing material and works it into actively growing turf to reduce practical surface variation. The amount applied in one visit is limited by turf health, low-spot depth, grade, and the lawn’s ability to recover.
- Reduced mower bounce and localized scalping
- Improved surface consistency across the quoted area
- Material selected for the package and finish goal
- Clear expectations when more than one season may be needed
Optional material upgrade
Bio Max C65: $35 per cubic yard.
The premium blend is 85% sand and 15% peat moss. It adds organic moisture-holding support while maintaining a sand-dominant leveling profile.
Why consider it
The peat-moss component can help the applied material retain moisture during recovery while the sand remains the primary leveling medium.
How it is quoted
The upgrade is priced per cubic yard. Your proposal lists the planned volume so the upgrade total is transparent before approval.
Important limits
Leveling should be sold with honest expectations.
- Actively growing, reasonably healthy Bermuda is required for best recovery.
- Deep holes, drainage failures, major grade problems, and buried construction defects are outside standard leveling.
- Irrigation, mowing, and traffic management after service affect recovery.
- Material settles and turf grows; a highly demanding finish may require future refinement.

Bermuda leveling questions
Does lawn leveling make Bermuda perfectly flat in one visit?
No. The goal is practical surface improvement. Deep low spots, severe grade issues, drainage problems, and highly uneven lawns may require staged work or a different construction solution.
What is the Bio Max C65 upgrade?
Bio Max C65 is an optional 85% sand and 15% peat-moss lawn-leveling material upgrade priced at $35 per cubic yard. The proposal shows the volume and total upgrade price.
Will the Bermuda be buried?
Material is applied and worked into the canopy within the scope appropriate for actively growing Bermuda. Application depth is controlled, but some visible stress is normal after leveling.
Can I level dormant Bermuda?
Leveling is scheduled when Bermuda is actively growing and able to recover. The exact window depends on weather and turf condition.
Is drainage correction included?
No, unless explicitly written into a separate scope. Leveling the turf surface is not the same as installing drainage or regrading the property.
